Can I just say that I love how the movie Black Swan  has brought ballet glamour back?  Many of the editorials lately have been greatly inspired by ballet costumes, but I love the color palette and texture to these photographs the most.

Fun fact:  I wanted to be a prima ballerina when I was little, but my ballet teacher told my parents I wasn't the most graceful kid in the class and I should try gymnastics.  In the end I became too tall to go further with it, but now I can do several fun party tricks!

Happy Monday everyone!

Beautiful!! I'm embarrassed to admit that I still haven't seen the movie!! And don't worry - being tall is being better than a prima ballerina! My daughter is having the same problem with figure skating!

This has to be one of my favourite editorials I have seen recently. You are SO right -- black swan has definitely started and brought back some trends. Great post!

wow, her legs just go on, and on, and on...

I love her hair.

Also, I see you're reading "Little Bee"! I hope you enjoy it; we read it for my bookclub in November. It was excellent and thought-provoking.
