City Hall Wedding

If I ever decide to get married, I'd love to have a simple and intimate wedding like this. Something classy with a vintage touch would be perfect. This wedding, for me, really is the idyllic vintage City Hall wedding.

I love the old hollywood style and glamour of the bride's dress, and her hair is gorgeous! She kind of reminds me of Greta Garbo. Can you believe that her dress is from a BCBG outlet store, her rabbit fur coat a thrifted find, and her bracelet is from Forever 21? A girl after my own thrifting heart. This just makes me love this wedding even more!

Would you prefer a small or larger wedding?

originally, i had hoped for something similar to this couple, but my parents politely told me no. you know, obligations and such.

but i do love this idea! their outfits are just the cutest.

I used to want all that fanfare and favours, but now that I have a shy fella who's uncomfortable in front of crowds I'd prefer summat smaller and more us. I love this lady's outfit, just lovely.

I small wedding in my mothers backyard. It was perfect and felt a lot more intimate then some big showy thing. She looks gorgeous, and at the right price too. :)

I'd prefer a small wedding but I have a huge family so that might not happen :( This wedding is beautiful! I love the bride's style

Mara, I have a huge family too. As much as I would LOVE to have a small wedding I know that I'll probably have to have a huge wedding. I should charge admission haha

Beautiful! I got married last year and had a medium-size wedding, up in the mountains. It was beautiful and the perfect place. That said, I was SO glad when it was over and done with - what a nightmare to organise. I can see the advantage of small City Hall weddings now!

now that I I crave one on one time with my husband I would go back and do a small intimate wedding.

what a gorgeous, intimate wedding :) Personally, in the distant future, I want my wedding to be a party that I'll share with friends and family. I don't care about matching napkins and favours- just love and good music xx.

sometimes i think i'd much rather have a city hall wedding than deal with all the fuss of inviting family and friends and the whole shebang. i would rather spend the money on something intimate, a gorgeous outfit and a wonderfully talented (and expensive) photographer.

i think our families would be disappointed though.
